The National CASA/GAL Association for Children supports a network of 890 state CASA/GAL organizations and local CASA/GAL programs operated in 48 states and the District of Columbia. Monthly support provides the National CASA/GAL Association with dependable, predictable resources that allow us to plan responsibly and respond quickly to the needs of local programs. CASA/GAL mentors are appointed by juvenile court judges, which provides them with broad access to the children with whom they have been matched—home, school, and neighborhood—in order to facilitate high quality one–on–one relationships. .
